Hello,

I’m Jessica Perez, a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate in the state of Texas.  I have over 20 years of experience working with children and their families in a variety of settings to include teaching and counseling.

 

My experience and training are in the areas of Rogerian Person-Centered Therapy, Adlerian/Birth Order, Trauma Informed Care, CBT.  I am also knowledgeable in Psychological First Aid, Youth Suicide Prevention & Awareness, Art Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy.  

 

I have a passion for working with children and adolescents to assist them with everyday growing pains or specific challenges that are preventing a path to healthy development.  These obstacles can hinder youth in the areas of social, emotional and academic success. I look forward to meeting you and your child to discuss how counseling can be beneficial for them!
